Load Bearing Pads
Boomerang Rubber Load Bearing Pads, or Anti-Vibration Pads, are manufactured from tire cord-reinforced masticated rubber material. Our Load Bearing Pads are used in construction of prestressed concrete bridges, railroad tie pads, machinery equipment foundations, structural steel bearing application in building construction and shock isolation applications. The purpose is to distribute the load from a structural element to a supporting surface, providing a stable and even load transfer.
Features:
- The enhanced tire cord material increases load deflection resistance, elongation, tear strength, and tensile strength.
- 80 – 90 durometer (ASTM D2240)
- Tensile Strength – minimum 1000 PSI (ASTM D412)
- Tear Strength – minimum 400 PSI (ASTM D624)
- Load Deflection Tested up to 12k/PSI (ASTM D575)
- Manufactured in the USA out of 100% recycled raw materials from the North American Tire plants
